The day my tape machine started making ridiculous noises all by itself and so I sampled them and used the samples to make a song about the tape machine gaining sentience.
The weird synth noise with the wandering pitch at the start and end of the track is the noise the machine was making whenever I slightly moved the faders and knobs. Most of the synths are created by loading Sampler with a short grab of the tape machine noise and triggering it with midi sequences.
