Here is a short piece of visual music I’ve been working on in my spare time over Christmas. I wanted to get more fluent with Motion 5, and test out a few techniques of visualising sounds.

Like most of my videos, it was created by constantly skipping back and forth between visual software and music software - trying to create each element as a unified audiovisual idea. My aim is to conceive ideas as sound and image together, rather than make musical ideas which are then realised visually, or vice-versa. Unlike a lot of my other videos, the emphasis is on pure synchresis, rather than phasing patterns and processes.

This one is sort of a tester to see what works - I’m hoping to make some much longer, more complicated works in a similar style.
