New composition for 3 keyboard instruments or 6 monophonic instruments.

Again, feeling pretty inspired the minimalist gang - Reich, Riley, etc. While this score isn’t quite as incomprehensible as the last one I posted, it’s still a bit of an attempt to escape regular linear notation to find something more appropriate to the logic of the piece. I think (hope) this one makes sense so I won’t explain it too much. One thing I like about it though is you can make it as long or short as you like by substituting any number as “n”, and it will still all line up perfectly at the end.

The time signatures are a bit silly… 16/16 is obviously just 4/4, and 14/16 is really 7/8, but I’ve written it this way to emphasise the relationships between the three parts, each being one semiquaver longer or shorter than the last.

To perform it live I’m wondering whether it would be good to feed each musician a different click-track, as it would be pretty difficult to play otherwise. Particularly the 15/16 part would require superhuman focus.
