A lot of my compositions have their own sort of internal rules, And there’s something about using linear notation to write them out that just feels inefficient and wrong. Like writing out a family tree in continuous prose.

So I’ve started to think about ways I can represent it diagramatically. This is a first attempt which makes very little sense! It’s actually the piano part from the first half of this composition… which is highly unclear, I know. But I hope to keep playing around with this and trying to find ways to make it more readable.
